1. FIRST-WEEK CHECKLIST
Day 1: Confirm role, scope, region, time zone, software access and named reviewer. Record drawing/specification revisions and document permissions.
Day 2: Read site plans, tree schedules, arborist reports where supplied and access information. Write a scope map and questions log before measuring.
Day 3: Build a tree-by-tree schedule tied to plan references. Record the documented service, size basis, location and disposal requirements; keep stump work and protection separate.
Day 4: Add quoted or approved pricing, source dates, labour basis, assumptions and exclusions. Review Ask for missing tree condition, equipment access, utility conflicts, permissions and protection requirements. Remote estimating cannot replace the necessary qualified site assessment.
Day 5: Reconcile the schedule to the plan and report, identify uncertain access or condition, and flag tasks requiring an arborist’s review.

2. SAMPLE ASSIGNMENT
A documented site tree schedule with pruning, removal and one restricted-access area. Use a training set or authorised redacted drawings. Submit marked plans, a quantity workbook, assumptions, exclusions, RFIs and a revision summary. No invented rates or client claims.
