1. FIRST-WEEK CHECKLIST
Day 1: Confirm role, scope, region, time zone, software access and named reviewer. Record drawing/specification revisions and document permissions.
Day 2: Read plumbing layouts, risers, fixture schedules, details and specifications. Write a scope map and questions log before measuring.
Day 3: Separate domestic water, sanitary, storm and any specialty systems. Record pipe quantities by system, size and material, with fixture counts, valves, insulation and equipment shown separately.
Day 4: Add quoted or approved pricing, source dates, labour basis, assumptions and exclusions. Review Clarify underground work, tie-ins, shutdowns, testing, supports, access and fixture supply. Record routing assumptions and coordinate system boundaries with civil and mechanical scopes.
Day 5: Compare fixtures to schedules, trace system continuity, check material and size changes, and list unmeasured or inaccessible routing.

2. SAMPLE ASSIGNMENT
A washroom renovation with a fixture schedule, riser and relocated service connection. Use a training set or authorised redacted drawings. Submit marked plans, a quantity workbook, assumptions, exclusions, RFIs and a revision summary. No invented rates or client claims.
